The Strongarm Blaster is a revolver pistol model that can be used as a great secondary weapon in your nerf wars. This is a simple barrel fed system powered by a spring action blaster. Due to this priming is required for each shot unlike motorized blasters. Both elite and suction darts can be used with this Elite blaster. It’s advertised for kids 8 years and up. And adults ofcourse !
Features
Notable features of this blaster would be its ammo barrel. It can accommodate only 6 darts which may sound less in number but good enough for a secondary firearm. The barrel in itself can be released and shaken out of the main body of the blaster and reloaded. It can also be reloaded without releasing it directly when it’s in position to fire. This allows very small reload times. Once the barrel is released and reloaded, here comes the cool part, it can be clicked back into place single-handedly just by flick of the wrist, like an actual revolver. Very cool.
Other notable points would be two sling attachments points and a tactical rail at the top that allows you to add N-strike scope attachments.
Slamfire is present and works great. This means you could hold down the trigger and simply prime the gun and it will directly fire the dart. The priming handle is very comfortable with a small upward projection at the back which allows you to prime the blaster single-handedly against your body. Again, very cool.
Performance
The blaster weighs about 0.37 Kgs, perfect for carrying around the field and shooting with one arm. The muzzle speeds are well above the Elite series average of 70 fps. The range of the blaster too reaches 75 feet or more. So you needn’t worry about this being a small gun. Despite its looks it is a power weapon to hold during your HvZ or Nerf wars. With Slamfire included, this works great when your cornered and need to unload the maximum damage quickly.
Control Is In Your Hands
Despite the raw power and speed of the Strongarm, it will always remain under your control. Each shot has to be primed. So it lets you minimize your ammo usage and at the same time deliver highly accurate shots. One at a time of-course. The barrel can be opened and reloaded easily, maybe just the one dart you need to fire. Furthermore, the barrel is of the auto-advance type, meaning you need not re-position the barrel each time you fire. The barrel automatically rotates and positions the next dart in front of the plunger, after each shot.
Pros
One. No batteries required.
Two. The biggest pro of Strongarm is its price. You could get it for less than 10 dollars in Amazon!
Thirdly this blaster almost never jams.
Rightly hailed as the possibly best Nerf blaster of all time for its price, the whole point of the Strongarm is to have nothing but pros. The power, speed and accuracy combine to give birth to an exemplary blaster. Each and every feature of the Strongarm is an advantage, and anyone fortunate enough to bestow themselves with this blaster is sure to be a happy shooter. Go ahead and blast to your hearts’ content. The Strongarm blaster will let you do so!
Cons
Cons come in the form of customization. There is no barrel extension slot at the front. No Stock attachment slot at the back either. So except for performance mods, much customization is not possible. Otherwise the Strongarm blaster has been complimented to contain no cons when it comes to ease of use or performance.
Overall a great secondary firearm alternative. If you’re looking for a small nerf blaster to begin with, or present to your kid, or looking to supplement your bigger nerf blasters with a side arm, the Strongarm is the best option right now.
