Overview of Nerf Modulus Regulator

Nerf Modulus Regulator Fully Motorized Blaster, 3 Firing Modes, 2X 12-Dart Clips, 24 Nerf Elite Darts

The Regulator – part of the N-Strike Modulus series – was released in August 2017 and came with a Storage Stock, Long and Short Barrel Scopes, a Swivel Handle, two 12-dart clips, and 24 Elite Darts. This powerful blaster runs on four C batteries.

The Regulator is a revolutionary flywheel clip system blaster like no other – boasting SwitchFire Technology! This innovative technology gives you the choice of three firing modes: semi-automatic, fully automatic, and the awesome “burst mode,” which lets you shoot off three darts in quick succession. The switch dial in front of the firing trigger makes it all possible.

Positioned just ahead of the firing trigger instead of next to the clip well, the clip release button is there for your convenience. And don’t worry, if you ever experience a dart jam; you can simply open the jam door and gain access to the inner workings of your weapon to sort it out. This one stands out from the rest due to its latch, which keeps it secure, just like the N-Strike Elite HyperFire. For the blaster to fire, make sure the latch is firmly shut and locked. And don’t forget about the LED light situated atop the rear iron sight – it flashes to let you know when a loaded clip has run out.

This blaster comes with a detachable shoulder stock, a barrel extension, and a set of iron sights perched atop, ready to blast away! This gun is equipped with two tactical rails – one on top and one at the muzzle – and two built-in sling mounts at the iron sights. Plus, you can attach the included shoulder stock for an extra mount.

Key Features of the blaster

SwitchFire Technology:

The Nerf Modulus Regulator blaster has SwitchFire Technology that gives you three shooting modes. Single fire lets you send a dart flying with one trigger pull, 3-round burst fire lets you unleash several darts in a row with one trigger squeeze, and full auto lets you blast a bunch of darts at once!

You can choose firing mode

Indicator light: As your magazine nears its end, the indicator will blink for 15 seconds as a distinctive way of alerting you that the magazine is empty. An unconventional addition compared to other toys.

Storage stock: Don’t fret about a shortage of ammunition – there’s a supply of extra magazines for backup.

Swivel carry handles: The carry handle of this gun is unique – it can be attached to the tactical rail at the front or back or even rotated 90 degrees for a more comfortable grip.

As you pull the trigger, you can hold the swivel handle for a seamless motion. Additionally, kids can affix this swivel handle to steady their shots.

Nerf modulus regulator Batteries: On the side of the Regulator and just above the trigger, you’ll spot the battery door. This Regulator needs four C-style alkaline batteries. To install them, begin by undoing the Phillips screw, removing the battery door, placing the batteries in, and then reattaching the door.

Nerf Modulus Regulator Unboxing

Blaster Attachments

The Regulator comes with a selection of add-ons, starting with the storage stock. Attaching it is just as easy as any other stock, plus it has a magazine holder on the back, making it an incredibly useful tool. In addition, it also stores the carry handle attachment at the top – not always needed in the heat of battle, but it is still a welcome addition for storing your blaster away. Although it may be a tad too small for my frame as a full-grown adult, it’s still comparable to the other N-Strike stocks.

The carry handle barrel comes with a male and female attachment point, allowing you to join it with any other barrel combo. What’s more, the top of the handle swivels and clicks into place in increments of 90 degrees – so if you feel like shooting from the hip, simply pivot it to the side and start firing!

Then there is the little peephole in the top of the carry handle – it gives the included sights a line of sight, allowing you to use your optics and peek through it. Unfortunately, the alignment is too high, so if you attach a standard optic, your vision will be obstructed.

Nerf modulus Regulator Modification

If you’re looking to upgrade your Regulator blaster, it’s a breeze – all you have to do is get your hands on a Nerf Regulator mod kit! Start by unscrewing all 20 screws – take your time because a job done right takes patience. Then, detach the shell cover, release the power board, and cut off the wires. Put in the new board, then connect the LEDs and change the wires – and voilà! Don’t worry if you’re feeling a bit unsure – the kit comes with an instruction guide that’ll make the process a breeze.
